Office scenes
The office league, chaos edition
The big tournament is about to start, the whole company is buzzing and someone has to run the sweepstake. Enter the intern, proud as can be, with the ultimate solution: a shared Excel sheet with dodgy formulas and cells that change colour for no reason. By the third match nobody knows who is ahead. By the fifth, accounting has asked for an audit.
Meanwhile, the colleague in the Singapore office made their predictions at three in the morning, the sales director “corrected” theirs after the final whistle and HR is quietly asking whether this is really a good idea at work.
This is where WisePaul saves the day. Everyone joins with an invite code and predicts in their own language, with kick-offs in their local time. Predictions lock on their own at kick-off, results come in automatically and the table updates after every match, with nobody on duty. You can run one league per department, office or country, each with its own table. And there is no betting and no money: just predictions, points and good spirits between departments.
And the intern? They can finally concentrate on what matters: trying to win the league without having to program it.
